So if anyone asks me about the best monitor for the Mac Mini, this is it, hands down. This is just 24" of pure Retina goodness, all from this little Mini. The 3, 24inch Full HD displays work great with both the 2012 Mac mini and my work laptop (Microsoft Surface Pro 4). Can I connect the two together using the 21 as a monitor. Received it the next day ⚠ - and within 15 minutes, plugged the HDMI cable into the Mini, and was shocked - SHOCKED, I say - by the awesome clarity of the screen and the overall performance.
But then I've had this itch to go 4k, and I did all the research. The Mac mini is shipped without an accompanying screen, keyboard or mouse as Apple likes to say, its BYODKM (Bring Your Own Display. Well, I'm running a mid-tier 2014 Mac Mini, and previously had an Asus 24" VS28 display 1920 x 1200 - which was great.
